On Saturday 01 January 2022, the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies-AISS held an online roundtable on “The Situation of Child Literature in Afghanistan”. Ms. Mitra Assey, Poet and Artist; Mr. Mojib Merhrdad, Writer and Poet and Mr. Assad Ehtisham, Writer, we’re speakers of the program. Ms. Shukria Mashal was the moderator.
In this program, the speakers talked about the history of child literature in Afghanistan and the importance of such literature in making the personality of children. They said that instability of state and the weak economy have affected cultural issues including child literature.
