Today, May 23, 2019, AISS released first issue of Meh Brief in a program, in which government officials, experts, university academics, members of Civil Society, and diplomats participated.
In the first issue of Mehr Brief, a policy brief by Michael Rubin, member of American Enterprise Institute, titled ‘Assessing the Trump Team’s Afghanistan Peace Plan’ was published. In this article, the author examines United States’ Strategy towards Afghanistan, and the Afghan peace negotiations.
Mehr Brief aims at bringing you scholarly articles and journals from prominent Afghan and International authors about the Afghan Peace process. Under Mehr Brief series, authors provide opinions, critiques, and expert views, from scholarly perspectives on the conflict in Afghanistan, and the conduct of the peace negotiations and peace settlement by the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the U.S. Government, and other stakeholders.
