Today, the representatives of the AISS visited the Embassy of the Republic of France in Kabul to offer their condolences and sympathy to the government and people of France over the tragic accident of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, one of France and World’s renowned historical heritages. During the visit, the Director General of AISS and the Deputy Ambassador and Charge d’affairs, Mr Cherif Castel exchanged view on the significance of the cathedral for France and the world heritage and wished for the prompt resurrection of the Cathedral. The two also discussed bilateral relations between Afghanistan and France, particularly the important role and contribution of France to restoration of Afghanistan’s cultural heritages.
