On Saturday 29 December 2018, US diplomats visited the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) and met with the AISS researchers. During this meeting, both sides discussed the proposed peace and reconciliation process and the importance of interregional dialogue for the peace and development in Afghanistan.
