The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) is pleased to inform that it has just opened its branch office in Herat City to assist with the growing efforts of the organization. The opening of this new office is an important landmark for AISS, as it represents the first permanent station of its activities outside of Kabul. The Herat office of AISS consists of both administrative and research sections. It will significantly add to the ongoing efforts of AISS, which include events and research throughout the country.
