As a part of the long term program expansion the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) entered into a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with an Indian think-tank and research institute, the United Service Institute of India (USI). The MoC was signed on the sideline of AISS-USI first jointly-organized Afghanistan-India Security Dialogue in Delhi, India. Both AISS and USI strongly believe that this agreement provides the basis for the two institutions bilateral cooperation in the areas of joint research, regional conferences and scholarly exchanges.
As one of the growing and an independent Afghan think-tank, AISS is committed to enter into such bilateral agreements with other regional countries think-tank and research institution both in the short and long term.
